WIT Graduate Talks Event Waterford Institute of Technology organised a Graduate Talk for the first years in December 2020 via Zoom. The virtual talk aimed to provide useful insight and understanding to the common first year engineering students which to help them in selecting the most suitable engineering degree. 10 of the WIT Graduates across various engineering disciplines successfully engaged in the talk with Lecturers and Students. Brian Chong, Graduate Civil Engineer from Malone O’Regan was delighted to share his journey and experiences in achieving his engineering degree and his role as a graduate engineer. His 4 months summer placement as a student engineer with Malone O’Regan in 2019 has allowed him to gain valuable experience and exposure to the Irish Construction Industry which was a great benefit in completing the final year of his engineering degree.
